You must have this feature activated on your phone line. With the caller on the line, press the switch hook (or Flash/Tap/Recall/Link key) and listen for dial tone. Enter third party’s number. When the third party answers, announce the call and hang up. The call is transferred. If you reach a busy signal, press the switch hook twice to cancel the transfer.

For the caller ID function on a phone to work, you must subscribe to the service through your local phone company and the service must be activated in the phone system programming.

Access a line and enter the phone number. You may leave the handset down to use the speaker option, or lift the handset for a private call. There are 2 ways to access a line. 1) Press 9, then enter the phone number OR 2) Touch a line button on your phone, then enter the phone number.
