1. What is Country code?
Country code is the Telephone dialing prefixes for the member countries of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
- Example:
- Vietnam: +84
- Singapore: +65
- USA/Canada: +1
- France: +33
By Default, SIP Trunk allows all country codes.
2. Configuration:
Country Whitelist is a call blocker feature that you can narrow down the selection of countries to which your outbound calls can reach. It is a useful security feature that helps to avoid international calls in case of being hacked. All the calls to the destinations not included in the whitelist will be automatically blocked.
To add Country Whitelist, follow the steps below:
- Go to SIP
- Select Security
- Choose Country white list
- Enter the country name or country code
- Add Country
Note:
If you leave the Country Whitelist empty, it means no restriction.
