To configure a Call Group settings, follow the steps below:
- Click on the rubik icon > Select Call Groups
- Click on the pencil icon at the group you want to configure > Update Group Label
3. Choose Ring Mode:
Ring All – Simultaneous Ring:When a call comes in, all users in the Extension List ring simultaneously.
Sequential: Each extension is rung in order, one after another, starting from the first extension in the list each time.
Round Robin – Circle Ring: When a call comes in, each extension user is rung in order, one after the other. However, the last extension used is remembered. The next call received rings the next extension in the list.
Longest Idle – Uniform Ring: When a call comes in, the extension that has been unused for the longest period rings first, then the extension that has been idle second-longest rings, etc.
4. Add group members (maximum 20) > Click Update to save and activate:
- Configure Pickup Prefix:
You can create a pickup prefix for your organization so that your users can pick up calls of any other extensions.
To directly pick up the call of any extension, press: Pickup prefix + user key + #
- Example:
- The pickup prefix is *10
- Pick up the call that is ringing at Ext 201, press *10201#
To pick up the call of another extension in the same group, press: Pickup prefix + #
- Example:
- The pickup prefix is *10
- Ext 202 & Ext 203 are in the same group
- Ext 202 wants to pick up the call ringing at Ext 201, press *10#
